Upholstery Fabrics with an Easy Cleaning System

Unrivaled, clean and easy: DELIGARD fabrics. The innovative cleaning system DELIGARD was

specifically designed for the healthcare sector and is resistant to bacteria, urine and moistu-

re. Intensive use, as well as minor mishaps can effortlessly be removed thanks to the unique

Easy Cleaning System.

Every single fiber is enclosed by a protective sheath, replacing the commonly used “shal-

low” surface coating found in other fabrics. The special protective layer on the reverse side

prevents the penetration of moisture and wetness.

Faux leather – the colourful alternative to upholstery fabrics

The use of faux leather is becoming more and more

important in the health & care sector. The functio-

nal advantages are clear: Faux leather is easy care,

breathable and resistant to disinfectants and urine.

Faux leather is also a visual highlight due to its soft

handle, its typical leather surface as well as the attrac-

tive colours.

If one combines faux leather with colour matching

upholstery fabrics by DELIUS the well-being effect

increases even further.

Draperies and Sheers

Easy maintenance, washability and durability are top priorities for texti-

le furnishings in the healthcare sector. A tasteful design in combination

with harmonious colour schemes are also significant factors.

DELIUS offers a series of draperies and sheers which perfectly fulfill

the demands for colours and washability. The complete range is per-

manently flame retardant and washable at 60°C; the colours of

all fabrics are matching to give you a harmonious colour range.

Semi sheers at a width of 300 cm form an impor-

tant part of the DELIUS health & care collection.

The effect of a light transparency coupled with ex-

traordinary colours make for a special atmosphere

in every room. Privacy is maintained while the view

outside is not barred.

Velours, plain or patterned, elaborate jacquards or

flowing double face satins, are all befitting for use

as decorative draperies. The colour palette of plain

decorative fabrics is endless. Alongside the offered

colour selection, nearly any colour of the spectrum

is available as well.

DELICARE – anti-microbial furnishing fabrics

The permanent bio-active functional fabrics by DELIUS offer freshness and hygienic cleanliness. Silver

ions which are firmly embedded in the fibre stop the growth of bacteria both within and outside the

fibre. They thus protect against infections like MRSA in hospitals. DELICARE fabrics also reduce the

formation of odours caused by microbes.

Frequent washing does not reduce the function unlike with normal

finishes. This is typical for DELIUS: the function is contained in the

yarn and is not subsequently imposed by a finishing process; this

also holds true for the flame retardancy.

Blackout and Dimout Fabrics

Dimout fabrics do not only embellish, if desired, they darken as well. The usual light transmission of 40%, is reduced

to a mere 1% with the help of our soft flowing, double face satin with a black weft. In other words: the functional fabric

qualities absorb almost all rays of light, both day and night. Printing the reverse side in a darker colour intensifies the

darkening effect even more.

When doubled in use, our Dimout even achieves complete blackout. With a light transmission of 0%, a deep and

peaceful sleep is supported. In addition to the classics, we also offer Dimouts with printed patterns, surface effects

and woven appearances, which are in no way inferior to the functionality of the classics.

We print your individually created or selected designs on the fabric of

your choice. State of the art printing technology allows the generation

of vibrant colours, precise contours and distinct contrasts. Our online

design gallery provides a diversity of designs to choose from. Our unique

design software ColourLAB enables you to re-colour already existing

designs to your individual liking right on the screen in front of you.

Various base cloths are at your disposal. We can even supply small quantities for

mock-up rooms, in a quick and uncomplicated manner.
