Dr. Shajahan is an acknowledged paediatrician with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Government Medical College Trivandrum and post graduate diploma in Child Health from Government Medical College Calicut in 1995.
Throughout his quarter century of practice, Dr. Shajahan has been managing and following up all acute and chronic paediatric cases with exceptional experience in paediatric allergy, nutrition deficiency, growth and development.

The General Radiology Department at the AESMC is equiped with high-end Digital X-Ray and Ultrasound machines. This department images patients referred by outpatient clinics. In the general radiology department, patients from clinics are seen on a ‘demand basis’, so there might be a waiting time depending on how busy the department is at the time. Patients referred in by GPs are imaged at appointment times.

Orthopaedics Department
Dr. Prakash Raj Bhandari, an enthusiastic orthopaedic surgeon, obtained his MBBS in 2006 and MS (orthopaedic surgery) from Sichuan University and Sun Yat-sen University which are among the key and largest universities in China. After his post-graduation in 2011, he joined Nepal Orthopaedic Hospital where he also had broad experience working with teams like Operation Walk Chicago, Healing the Children, USA, Neverest Foundation.
In UAE, he started working in American Hospital Dubai in 2016 before relocating to Abu Dhabi. He has special interests in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty.

A graduate from Coimbatore Medical College in India, with distinction in 1992. Dr. Meena took her MOH License from Bahrain in 1997 and from Abu Dhabi in 1998 and has since been working in Abu Dhabi. She has served as Trauma Senior House officer at Ganga Hospital (1992-1995) Specialty Centre for trauma, orthopaedic, plastic, hand & micro surgery.
She has wide experience in management of trauma/burns cases. She has assisted major surgical procedure in plastic surgeries and orthopaedic procedures and has acquired special skills in assisting general surgical, paediatric and gynaecological operations.
Dr. Meena has taken special training in care of pre-operative preparation and post-operative care in patients. She has been actively involved in breast cancer screening and educational programs. Mr. Antonio Morales Jr. completed his degree in Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT) from Saint Paul University Iloilo in 2007. He worked as physiotherapist in different hospitals and rehabilitation centers in Iloilo City, Philippines. He attended trainings and seminars in basic taping and manual manipulation.
