NETCENTS Mandatory Use Waiver Process for Small Business

6

NETCENTS contract for Network Centric IT products and services was originally

awarded to four large and four small businesses

Only two out of the four original are still considered small business on NETCENTS

NETCENTS is currently covered by a mandatory use policy

However, ordering activities may exercise a waiver process when requirements

can be met by two or more small businesses

Contracting officer approves the waiver

Waiver process does allow for installations to achieve small business goals,

obtain other technical benefits or cost savings
