• C51 Michael J. Zone Recreation Center Sustainable Greenspace 6301 Lorain Avenue This brand new project features a state-of-the-art upgrade of the 22-acres surrounding the Michael J. Zone Recreation Center into a greenspace demonstrating ecological restoration, sustainability and permaculture principles.  Rain gardens and space for community gardens with fruit-bearing orchards are included.  Landscape architect Jim McKnight’s design earned an American Landscape Architects Association Ohio Chapter Award.  This project is located in the EcoVillage area of Detroit Shoreway. Open access and off street parking.
