AY ALL ARE WELCOME | Whether you are young or old, rich or poor, doubtful or hopeful … no matter
where you are in your faith journey, YOU are welcome here. For those with children, be assured that
noises and wiggling are signs of a church that is alive and growing; your entire family is welcome
in worship.

Welcome to The Peoples Church! Rev. Andrew Pomerville
Choral Introit “Easter Fanfare” Paul Fetler
Sanctuary Choir directed by Dr. Jonathan Reed
Call to Worship (Written by N.T. Wright) Rev. Drew Filkins
Leader: Made for spirituality, we wallow in introspection.
People: Made for joy, we settle for pleasure.
Leader: Made for justice, we clamor for vengeance.
People: Made for relationships, we insist on our own way.
Leader: Made for beauty, we are satis! ed with sentiment.
People: But new creation has already begun.
Leader: The sun has begun to rise.
People: In the tomb of Jesus Christ,
Christians are called to leave behind,
all that belongs to the brokenness and
incompleteness of the present world ...
Leader: That, quite simply, is what it means to be Christian:
to follow Jesus Christ into the new world, God’s new world,
which he has thrown open before us.
People: Let us worship our risen Lord! Alleluia! Alleluia!
