Powerful and Affordable AV for the Modern Workspace

Automatic power control and video source switching allow users to collaborate with minimal hardware

interaction. The system turns the display on when a presenter connects a source device, and automatically

switches to new source devices as they are connected. When no input signal is detected, the system

powers down after a predetermined time period.

Video scaling converts input signals to match a display’s native resolution for optimal picture quality. The

HC 400 Series incorporates Extron-exclusive video scaling technology that performs image scaling and

video format conversion at 30-bit precision processing with 4:4:4 chroma sampling for enhanced color

accuracy and picture detail.

The HC 400 Series systems are simple to install and easy to set up. Robust signal extension over CATx

cable eliminates the need for long, expensive HDMI cables. For simplified installation, remote power

capability enables a single supply connected at the receiver to provide power to both the transmitter and

the receiver.

The Extron HC 400 Series consists of easy-to-use AV systems for collaboration spaces. They combine video

switching, scaling, signal extension, and system control into transmitter and receiver pairs that seamlessly

integrate with a variety of room configurations. Common functions such as display power and source

switching are automated. Users can quickly share projects by simply connecting their laptop, tablet, or other

source device. To monitor, support, and report on all of your collaboration spaces throughout the organization,

use GlobalViewer Enterprise, the powerful networked AV system management solution.

The HC 400 Series receiver is common to each system, providing local HDMI input, remote power, control ports, and control

processing. The low profile, half rack width enclosure supports convenient placement near the display, and pre-installed mounting

brackets simplify the installation process.

Extron Network Button Panels are fully-customizable AV system control

interfaces compatible with HC 400 Series products. These easy-to-use panels

connect using standard Ethernet and perform a wide variety of AV system

functions such as display on/off, input switching, volume control, and much

more. Buttons can be easily customized using Extron Button Label Generator

software or by using the online Custom Button Builder application. Network

Button Panels also offer the convenience of PoE - Power over Ethernet, which

allows them to receive power and communication over a single Ethernet cable.

aspect of system performance, including video and audio settings, HDCP authorization, power down conditions, and more.

Global Configurator control system configuration software offers powerful features such as conditional logic, variables, and macros to provide

flexibility for sophisticated control system designs. Global Configurator has two modes. Global Configurator Plus is ideal for smaller scale

applications requiring one control processor. Global Configurator Professional is especially suited for applications requiring multiple control

processors, enhanced functionality, and advanced configuration.

APPLICATIONS

This basic HC 403 system powers up automatically and displays the correct image when a laptop is connected for presentation. It

automatically switches upon connection of another laptop. Built-in video scaling and signal extension ensure consistently high picture quality

and maximum signal integrity. The system automatically powers down when the meeting is over and there are no connected sources.

HC 400 systems can be expanded for additional functionality. This HC 402 EU system supports BYOD collaboration via a ShareLink™ Pro

Wireless Collaboration Gateway connected to the receiver's HDMI input. The HC 402 EU receiver interfaces directly with the OCS 100W

occupancy sensor for automatic system power control in facilities where always-active video sources are attached. The NBP 100 Network

Button Panel provides an intuitive, economical user interface to control AV system operations.

Zoom Room Application

This installation includes the HC 404 collaboration system preconfigured for Zoom Room operation at no additional cost. It combines intuitive

AV system control with Zoom Rooms conferencing hosted on a Mac Mini. All operations are managed at the TLP Pro 1025T TouchLink Pro

Touchpanel – there is no need to switch between different devices or interfaces to initiate a Zoom meeting, select user devices to display,

or turn the system on and off. Meeting participants can share content from up to three video-capable devices connected at the HC 404

transmitter, as well as from an additional device connected to the HC 404 receiver's HDMI input.

TeamWork Connect 300

The HC 404 contact/tally connections are designed to work with Extron Show Me® cables for users who prefer direct, tactile feedback when

presenting. Show Me cables facilitate simple source switching using the Share button at each device. TeamWork® Connect 300 is a cost-

effective, pre-configured collaboration system that accepts three sources. It includes two HDMI Show Me cables, one VGA Show Me cable,

an HC 404 Meeting Space Collaboration System, and all other necessary system cables.
