• IPTV vs. Internet TV– 很容易混淆在一起，兩者都使用IP技術，也都提供多媒體服務– 主要差別在於

• IPTV在必須可管理的封閉式網路之下 (如CHT MOD的Intranet架構)• 要有機房來做 QoS（Quality of Service）• 而且一定比例的內容屬於直播的節目者始能稱為 IPTV。

•Widgets can be almost anything including SNS viewer, games, video &

audio players, slideshows and productivity tools.

•Widgets can be downloaded onto desktops, CE device (such as TV) ,

and mobiles.

–舉例, Blog 以及 Facebook已經教育了一般人各種widget的使用

• TV widget 採開放API, 類似web widget 之編程技術; widget 開發者可快速上手, 因此widget content 能迅速累積

• TV Widget 不需要內容提供業者或者廣播業者增加額外的頭端設備投資
