The addiJonal appointments increase Hazer’s commercial and technical capability and boost the Company’s engineering, chemical and project management capabiliJes. Chaired by Dr Andrew MineG from the University of Sydney, the SAC was set up in June 2016 to provide the Board and technical team with advice on the scienJfic and commercial strategy for the commercialisaJon of the Hazer Process. Hazer is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members: MARK EDWARDS – HATCH PTY LTD Mark Edwards has decades of experience across a variety of engineering roles including project management, engineering management, mechanical lead, technical consultancy, and construcJon and commissioning roles for numerous brown and green field engineering projects. Mark has recently been a member of an industry technical steering commiGee for CSIRO, and is currently the AUA Regional Director of Light Metals for Hatch Pty Ltd – a global engineering and development company with 11,000 staff in 65 offices on six conJnents. Hatch is also one of the 100 largest companies in Canada, with sales over CDN $1 billion. KEVINPEAKMAN–BOCKevin is responsible for developing BOC's LNG technology for LNG plants, LNG distribuJon and supply chain equipment and LNG Fuel Dispensing Systems. He is also the Programme Manager for deployment of this technology to support the development of BOC's LNG business in the energy and transportaJon industries. This includes the producJon plants, enJre supply chain infrastructure for supplying LNG directly to customers and the business processes to service the customers. Prior to joining BOC Australia in 2003, Kevin had 20 years experience in the Chemical industry. The majority of his experience has been with BOC in the UK and ICI in Australia where he held various senior roles in Technology and OperaJons management. He also worked for Johnson MaGhey where he was responsible for a range of projects in developing Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Fuel Cell components and Hydrogen producJon for large internaJonal automoJve companies including GM, Daimler and Nissan as an alternaJve fuel for the automoJve market. DAVIDDEHAAS-MINERALRESOURCESLTDDavid is an engineering professional with 25 years of mining and industrial experience, currently employed as the Technical Director for the ASX listed Mineral Resources Limited - a leading and highly innovaJve full-service provider of mining infrastructure services in Australia. David is experienced at leading mulJ-disciplined maintenance and engineering teams in the implementaJon of business improvement programs or technical projects from concept development, engineering, construcJon, commissioning to operaJonal implementaJon and management. David de Haas; “The progress the Hazer group has made in developing proprietary technology to eventually produce a world class graphite product for baGery and other key graphite markets is criJcal to Australia’s strategy to embrace and implement innovaJve downstream processing technology”.
