A personal view of a trip around Europe.

*palermo 7.00am
At the base of a travel there can be per-sonal motivations or professional. But the thing that any type of travels share is the discovery of something. The travel or better said the trip is not only also un-derstood in a physical sense, but also in a metaphoric sense as expression of aban-donment, internal search, desire. As in the american panorama (far away from these photos), the boost that stimulates a trip in the famous “Route 66” among Chicago and Los Angeles is the same that brings you to decide to cross half of Europe. The care-less regard for time, of what stop to do or why, conducted only by the impulse to drive, to have a new target to reach to-wards the horizon. I have traveled a lot in my life but only after 26 years comes upon me such a long car trip. Two weeks, seven states, thirteen cities, one 35 mm film and one bag.
