Pastor’s Corner
We are celebrating two great feasts at this time. The Ascension of the Lord on the 15 & 16 of May( some will celebrate this May 13 & 14) and then the great feast of Pentecost (May 22 & 23) with the dramatic descent on the Apostles of the Holy Spirit and the birth-day of our Church. It is certainly a time to reflect on the importance of what Christ has done for us. Having taken on our flesh He will suffer and die for us as a man only to rise, transcend beyond physical death leading the way to the heavenly kingdom beyond this world. As for the Ascension we celebrate this weekend, we might reflect upon the fact that all the faithful will follow him if only we live in a manner which is worthy of our call. We should accept the life he offers beyond this troubled world to live, even now to some extent, the joys of the life which is to come. God bless you all.

Prayers for the families of Gary Ringhofer whose funeral was last week. His brother, Dennis, is a member of Holy Trinity of Litomysl. Ron and Tom Skala need our prayers for improved health from Covid 19.
We will be hosting a vacation bible school this summer at the end of June from 9-11:30 AM. If you would like to sign your child up, more information is available by the west entrance, or you can contact Krystal O'Connor. Next Sunday May 23, is honor's Sunday. We will honor our seniors, confirmation and first communion students with refreshments after mass provided by the CCW, all our welcome!

At Holy Trinity Church at Litomysl, it is truly appreciated that you honored the women in your life with the Mother's Day Spiritual Bouquet cards and gave generously to the Steele County shelter for homeless women and children, "Rachel's Light". A total of $565.00 was donated. The women's names will be remembered at each Mass as they will remain in the basket by the altar during the month of May.
Holy Trinity is looking to have donuts and refreshments to honor the graduating seniors and first communicants on May 23rd after mass.
