Jim Babcock’s Service to Delafield Recognized At the March 18th meeting of the Delafield Common Council, Jim Babcock’s nearly 60 years of dedication to the Hawks Inn Historical Society was acknowledged with a proclamation. Council President Tim Aicher introduced the presentation with comments about the importance of preserving our history and how that has impacted the development of Delafield. Mary Daniel, Hawks Inn president, added thanks to the Council because ”Jim is a special man who deserved this recognition.” Jim’s comments were brief: “Come visit Hawks Inn!”
