• Mail merge is used when multiple letters or emails need to be sent to multiple people pertaining to the same body content.

• Mail merge personalizes the letter or email by allowing users to input information like an address, name, title and postal code with the click of a button.

When is Mail Merge used?

• Mail merge is a feature supported by the majority of word processors. The most common being Microsoft Word.
