Built by Chartway Group Ltd, Hartnup Street is situated on the edge of the Barming Village which lies to the West of Maidstone Town.

Barming has a strong family feel. The local primary school is very well regarded. The area is ideal for those that want easy access to Maidstone and its many attractions but wanting to remain out of the middle of the hustle and bustle. The area has traditional terraces and sprawling fine country estates. Barming really does have a bit of something for everyone.

Barming is mentioned in the Domesday Book, and was then described as being divided into East and West; the latter being known as Little Barming, and having its own church until the

16th century, now known as Barn Jet. St Margaret’s Church is something of a landmark with its eye catching style.

There are a number of local retailers in the area. For larger facilities Aylesford and Maidstone are just a short drive away, but Barming and the surrounding area has much to see and do. There are plenty of places to walk the dog and enjoy the countryside. Maidstone has a leisure centre with a play centre built in. The Hop Farm is a short distance and offers a great family day out. Maidstone offers not one but two shopping centres, and plenty of family restaurants. Aylesford has some large retailers and supermarkets to visit for variety.
