My first few days at Trico Lift I discovered that backups hadn’t been successful for over 6 months, I suggested an inexpensive iSCSi solution and offsite storage. During the next few months I worked with ARCserve support to correct failing migration jobs to Amazon. I gave the help Desk Portal a face lift and included a how to document section, training videos, a cell phone exchange page, and a customer feedback page. I implemented a Network monitoring tool that gave our department information on end of life server equipment. I used that information to design and implement replacement domain controllers in the 5 branch offices.
