(The Board requested additional information be provided, such as income for the past two years.)

46 The Sheriff reported that 823 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities; 786 are located at the main facility and 107 at the work center. Seventy-four inmates have been cleared for transfer to a state facility. The Sheriff is discussing the issue of housing female prisoners with Hancock county to maximize use of the facilities in each county. He is also starting a work program for female inmates.
