STATE OF MISSISSIPPI COUNTY OF HARRISON BE IT REMEMBERED, that a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi was begun and held in the meeting room of the Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, located in the First Judicial District Courthouse in Gulfport, Mississippi on the FIRST MONDAY OF December 2012, being December 3, 2012, the same being the time fixed by law and the place fixed by order of the Board of Supervisors of Harrison County at a former meeting thereof for holding said meeting of said Board. THERE WERE PRESENT and in attendance on said Board, president Kim B. Savant, presiding; W. S. Swetman III, Marlin R. Ladner, William W. Martin, and Connie M. Rockco, members of said Board of Supervisors; Tal Flurry, Tax Assessor for Harrison County, Mississippi; Melvin Brisolara, Sheriff of Harrison County, Mississippi; and John McAdams, Chancery Clerk and Ex-Officio Clerk of the Board. WHEREUPON, after proclamation by the Sheriff, the following proceedings were had:

12-1961 1 Bill Holmes, Executive Director, and Marisa Spear Jones, CFO, of the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center, appeared before the Board to give a summary report on the renovation/expansion projects and thank the Board for its support.

12-2017 2 Bill Mitchell, Dax Alexander with Brown, Mitchell, Alexander Engineering and Dr. Susan Rees, Manager of the Mississippi Coastal Improvement Program for the Corps of Engineers, appeared before the Board to present plans, as on file with the Clerk of the Board, for a demonstration project to reduce sand blowing over Highway 90, consisting of template lowering of the beach with swell and excavation between Espy and Menge Avenues in Pass Christian. Fencing to promote creation of dunes will be established on either side of the

test site to measure efficiency of the demonstration project. MDOT, with the help of the County, will clear the highway on both sides as well as the medians to allow proper measurement of sand displacement during time frame of the project which should be completed by March 1, 2013.

These numbers include 111 misdemeanors and 98 females. Fifty-one persons are on the OTU program and 39 are slated to be transferred to a state facility. The inspection by the Justice Department went well, they will be back in six months to further evaluate the medical services provided by the new company. The Sheriff will make a full report at the next meeting.
