Summer is the perfect time to host a get-together for friends and family, there is no better time of the year to surround yourself with love and laughter. Summer parties are wonderful for so many rea-sons. The weather is typically nice with the sun shining. People are feeling happy and healthy. Best of all, the world is beautiful with all the blossoms and blooms arriving. When you are planning a summer party, the first thing that you will need to consider is the time for your event. Weekends are usually the most ideal days to fit everyone’s good mood and schedule. Best time are late afternoon/early evening. This let your guests take care of their ‘to-do-lists’ first before comeing to your party.

Fresh flowers are must haves! The world has pro-vided a beautiful backdrop of living decoration. Flowers are in bloom, it’s a great time in the year to showcase your favorite petals.

Keep food and refreshments light and healthy. You can provide the main course and ask have each guest to bring a healthy side dish or yummy des-sert that everyone can enjoy. Have a cooler full of bottled water and soda pop for beverages. If your guests will be having alcoholic drinks, have them bring their own. This will save you a substantial amount of money.

Summer parties are a great time to just relax and socialize, but it is nice to have a few activi-ties planned for your guests to participate in if they would like to. Set up a photo booth for ev-eryone to leave a fun memory, a slip and slide or other water attraction to stay cool, buy a new release and host a movie night, or set out the table and play some poker ... whatever the case make sure your activities fits everyone’s good taste.

Summer parties are so much fun to plan, as well as to attend. You can get as creative and exten-sive as you want to. The weather usually cooperates wonderfully. Just set up what you need to, welcome your guests, and sit back for a great day!
