New Happenings this Year… Vendor Village located in the Arnold Larson Park (Gazebo Park) from 10am–2pm. Vendor Village will be under the tent with businesses and vendor booths for you to browse and pick up a Christmas gift or two. During the parade and bonfire (in the Arnold Larson Park) we will have free Hot Cocoa and Apple Cider. Also new this year – Picnic in the Park with Santa. This event will take place in the tent area from 5pm–6:30pm. Tickets need to be purchase in advance and are available at McFarland State Bank, McFarland House Cafe and Village Hall. The tickets are $5.00 include hot dog, chips, cookie and drink.

4:30pm–5:30pm Holiday Bonfire/Community Tree Lighting – Arnold Larson Park. Warm up by the fire while you enjoy FREE hot cider or hot cocoa. Christmas Carols performed by the McFarland High School Choir and accompanied by Solstice Brass led by Quinn Leonard. Santa Claus will arrive by Fire Truck, courtesy of the McFarland Fire & Rescue Department. A special Thank You to the Village of McFarland Administration and the Public Works Department for storing, maintaining and hanging the community tree lights and holiday decorations throughout the Village of McFarland.

5:00pm Illuminated Fire Truck Parade – Beginning at the Fire Station, the trucks will parade around our historic downtown area before arriving at the bonfire to drop off Santa and then will proceed back to the fire station. A huge Thank You to the McFarland Fire & Rescue Department volunteers who made this parade possible.

5:00pm–6:30pm Picnic in the Park with Santa – Under the tent in the Arnold Larson Park, enjoy a hot dog, chips, cookie and drink. Tickets are $5 and available at McFarland State Bank, McFarland House Cafe and Village Hall. Tickets need to be purchase in advance.

5:30pm–8:00pm Christ The King Church – Soup’r Chili Cook-Off and Pie Bake-Off. Come hungry! Try all the soup, chili and pie you’d like for $10. 5306 Main Street.
