Colocações
• colocações referem-se a situações em que palavras se combinam ou co-ocorrem de maneira regular e recorrente. Como acontece na maioria das línguas, existem várias estruturas e construções fixas, não-idiomáticas, usadas naturalmente pelos seus falantes.
• When you speak or write, many different word combinations are possible, but some are much more probable than others. Some pairs of words occur together very rarely but other pairs occur together so often that when you see one word, you strongly expect that the other word may be there too. These special combinations are called collocations and they occur in all languages. (Hill & Lewis 1997: 6)
Colocações• Também chamadas de combinações recorrentes (recurrent
combinations) ou combinações fixas (fixed combinations), as
colocações (collocations) podem ser subdivididas em:

Colocações gramaticais As colocações gramaticais são combinações entre um item
lexical e outro gramatical; normalmente:

Colocações lexicais As colocações lexicais, por sua vez, caracterizam-
se pela relação sintagmática entre dois lexemas dentro de um padrão específico, como, por exemplo:
