Hello Goldwing Family! What a fast fall we are having! Can't believe it is just about time for theThanksgiving/Holiday Parade. We have had many nice riding opportunities both with thegroup and those days we were able to get out and just take a short ride. One Saturdayride we went to Roundup and were able to see Juanita Brewer at the assisted living there. It was so good to see her! (For those of you who don't know we bought our trike from herafter her hubby passed in January ) Any ride is Awesome! Don't forget to take intoconsideration the leaves and the moisture we have lately to be even more careful outthere riding. We would like to thank all of you who helped with the Halloween Party setting up andpacking up afterwards. We had about 34 there, some in costume and others just came toenjoy the company and of course the food! LynnDee had prizes for three categories ofwinners. I'm sure she will share these at the upcoming meeting. We want you to be thinking about the upcoming Holiday Parade which is always theFriday after Thanksgiving November 25th. We will be decorating a trailer again for allthose to ride on who aren't on bikes. Afterwards we will have our dinner at Denny's. Also, don't forget our Christmas Party is December 3rd.We look forward to seeing you Thursday at our regular meeting!

WHAT....iF...?
The " What iF" game can save your life . Rather than being surprised by left turning cars, skittish dear, oran old couch in the middle of the road , use your imagination to predict possible hazards and then takemeasures to minimize them .
* You see a car parked on the shoulder , "What iF" it's not parked, and is actually about to make a U-turn?
* You pass an open gate in front of a farm house: "What iF" all the cows got out?
* Rounding a corner in the mountains , you see little scraps of tire on the road. "What iF" there is a brokendown semi in my lane around the corner ?
* Riding along a road littered with dead deer "What iF" there are more waiting to cross ?
* Play the "What iF" continously as you ride , imagining what could happen and how you would reactto it, visualize yourself avoiding the hazard, and keep the rubber side down .
* I remember reading a news article this summer about a rider headed west on I-90. Just past the onramp going west out of Reed Point, Mt. a black bear chasing a fawn ran in front of the rider. He hit the bearat highway speed . The rider survived as did the fawn . The bear was killed by the collision .

Use your imagination and play the "What iF" game and outsmart the hazards life throws your way, eventhe unusual ones that "...WOULD NEVER HAPPEN TO ME . .."

MT-B MEMBERSHIP ENHANCEMENT
(NEW MEMBERS)
Donna and I want to welcome all the new members that joined GWRRA in the last two and a half
months. We want to start by saying “thank you” for joining GWRRA, that you have selected a
GWRRA Chapter (MT-B) that has been active since it began in 1993. MT-B still has some of the
charter members who are active with our group today.
Our chapter has monthly meetings, weekly dinner rides out of town (summer months), weekly
dinners (winter months), and other activities that we do during the year. Please refer to the
calendar included with this months newsletter.
As a member of GWRRA, you can participate in any chapter function that GWRRA has
worldwide. Your Wing World Magazine from GWRRA has all chapters listed with a contact
person for every chapter worldwide. We hope that you will join us (MT-B) for “Friends for Fun,
Safety & Knowledge.”
Thank you.
