Happy Birthday
Alexandra, Beatrice G, Eliza, Annabel H, Darcey, Mrs Williams
Christmas Plays The costumes are out, scripts have been written, parts are being cast and the school is coming alive with the sound of Christmas songs! Christmas performance letters were emailed to you last week, please sign up for
places through the Parents Evening System on Monday 25th November from 8.00pm. There are strictly two places per child and no under 5s will be admitted.
Often families choose to have 1 person in each performance so their child has somebody to wave to at each performance.
On the day of performances seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
This year, once again, the school is collecting presents to pass on to the youngest members of our community. We are asking for gifts to go under our tree that will go to a child whose family may be struggling to make ends meet and without the extra money for presents at Christmas. If you would like to participate please send a gift to school, wrapped and with a tag showing the suitable age (and gender if you feel it is relevant). A volunteer from Vineyard Church St Albans will collect gifts on Monday 9th December
After School Clubs
Spring 2020
We still have spaces on the following clubs:
Arts & Crafts (FS2) - Monday
Tag Rugby—Monday
Cricket—Wednesday
Arts & Crafts (Y1/Y2) - Thursday
Gymnastics—Friday
These can be booked through your schoolcomms account (accessed
from a computer or your gateway app).
Winter Menu Now we have finished the complete cycle of new menus, please
make sure you talk to your child/children about their menu choices. Especially now the weather is getting colder, it is
important the children have a good meal inside them.
On Tuesday (week 3) there were a large number of children who did not like their choices:
Shepherd’s Pie (Red)
Macaroni Cheese (Green) Chicken Mayo Wrap (Purple)
Cheese Roll (Yellow)
If you would like to make any changes please come to the office and speak to Serena.
Christmas Baubles
We are inviting children in Y1 and Y2 to bring in a bauble, which they may decorate if they wish to, on either Wednesday or Thursday
next week. The children will then hang these on our Christmas Tree during Assembly.
Please make sure they have string attached so they are ready to hang.

Heath Class Closure Thursday 12th December
Remember Heath Class is closed for the General Election.
Wow, we raised an amazing £246.45 for Children in Need.
Many thanks for all your donations.
If you would like your child to have milk next term please make your payment of £17.70 via the school gateway. Alternatively you can pay by cash or cheque (made out to Hertfordshire County Council) to the school office.
Hot Choc Friday Every Friday Mrs Rimmer will meet with one child from each class to share a mug of hot chocolate and talk about how the children have been like our Learning Heroes over the week. All children will be invited before the end of the academic
year. Allergies and ‘hot choc dislikers’ will be
catered for.
Compliments
Today we learned about compliments in our whole school assembly. We talked about
some compliments being about how we look but that the best ones are about how we
behave and the choices we make. Children
are learning to compliment one another.
