SWR pipes and fittings are manufactured by compounding uPVC

resin with chemicals to improve light stability which prevents

yellowing, and to prevent embrittlement and loss of mechanical

strength.

These are ringfit SWR pipes which have one plain end and are self

socketed with integral grooves to hold a rubber gasket at the other end.

When joined with a rubber ring, the joint formed is trouble free, leakage

free and ready to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction.

The UPVC Elastomeric Sealing Pipes are rigid PVC pipes

fitted with an Elastomeric sealing ring which offers a seal so

tight that the possibility of any kind of leakage becomes

remote. The sealing ring has been designed in such a way

that the pipes can be installed with ease & convenience.

Installation Procedure

oSpigot end is provided with 15 chamfer for full length

pipe. If cut lengths are to be used, then deburr the spigot o end with a file after cutting, and provide 15 chamfer.

Mark insertion depth on spigot

Clean the docket and ensure that elastomeric sealing ring

is properly installed in it’s grove without twist

Apply lubricant on the spigot

Slide the spigot into socket, thus compressing the sealing

lips. In case of large diameter pipes, use pipe jack.

This pipe is made of un-plastisized poly vinyl chloride

(uPVC). It is a versatile plastic having an excellent

combination of strength, chemical inertness and fine

resistance, which gives optimum performance at very low

and very high temperatures like less than 0° to 50°.
