AGV Use Case ISmart Logistic Solution: Summary
© iTAC Software AG 65
The solution is consist of: Design of Material Pull System, Integration with A/S (auto-storage), Integration with PnP machine systems (ASM OIB/ PanaCIM).
The logic of material pull in this case is, MPS generates PickList to request material kit for Changeover, based on SMTscheduled WorkOrders in ITAC.MES.SUITE. Afterwards, MPS generate “time-based” PickList for continuous material replenishment till close of WorkOrder. In addition, an Apps (LMH) on the line allows operator to call specific materials to MPS.
MPS integrates with A/S per protocol defined by ITAC and A/S vendor. The protocol is bi-directional and has flexibility to increase the communication capability. The AGV is controlled by A/S system. MPS tells A/S system what material is required by which line at when.
MPS integrates the PnP machine systems to get material set-up for the line, especially the information that material-split-feeder, C/T (cycletime) of board, and material count. MPS needs to apply the standard interface defined by each SMT systems.
Another factor is, customer’s A/S doesn’t have full coverage of shopfloor materials, but customer likes to realize all materials delivered to the lines are supplied from A/S. Thus, MPS needs to calculate the material requirements for certain period of time (said 1 week). Generate material list to logistic team, for them to prepare materials to A/S.
Overall the Smart Logistic solution improves customer’s efficiency of material delivery to the line. And as global SMT competence center, this considers as a POC for global demonstration of Industry 4.0 practice.

Important, because…… industry has questions that needs to be solvedbut where traditional approaches won’t help.… analytics must solve real issues and will create abenefit for the business.… must be based on available and stable products.... combining industry knowledge and IT knowhowrequires a flexible toolset.
IOT Strategy with iTAC.Manufacturing.AnalyticsCombine all data to achieve synergy and value
Important, topics to be covered:
• configurable toolbox
• optimized fault analysis to fix errors before they appear
• optimization of the energy consumption
• optimized maintenance planning
Findings by EMS company “Fideltronik”:
• Soldering defects come mainly from:• 80% fluxer (our current focus)
• 20% soldering process (next step)
• complexity and instability of process / too late correction action to changes of identified process parameters vs initial parameters
The most important for high quality are:• Fluxer settings – solid components surface density
of flux applied
• Temperature of PCB after pre-heating(differences of T should be in the specified range)
• Time of contact with the liquid solder
iTAC.Manufacturing.AnalyticsUse Case: Wave soldering monitoring

iTAC.Manufacturing.AnalyticsAssumptions
© iTAC Software AG Hannover Messe 2019 / About iTAC 79
• Data from machines on the production line will be gathered in BigData container• Structured data from iTAC.MES.Suite
• Unstructured IIoT Data (from sensors)
• Data entries from operators (User Interfaces, APPs, Tablets)
• Analytic processes will be triggered by scheduler and running, using BigData storage as a data source• Statistical (SPC, trends, correlation) analysis
• Pattern and indicators finding
• Advanced analytics (based on ML)
• React „quickly” by using notification for operators and technicians• Supervision of process behaviour, product anomaly
• Condition based maintenance which is a constraint for Predictive maintenance
• Process stabilization and optimization
• Compact visualization of sensor value, alarms, process status on easy to use dashboard
© iTAC Software AG Hannover Messe 2019 / About iTAC 80
SolutioniTAC enables faster troubleshooting for theoperator and maintenance crew by providing anassistance software that helps with:
• Continuous acquisition, analysis and evaluation…of process data powered by ADAMOS
• Streaming- and Batch analytics …to detect anomalies and predict known error patterns. Analytics can go from creating individual rules up to integrating machine learning algorithms (i.e. via Python)
• Intelligent Visualization…to provide a quick resolution of the error case

Following use case can provide a simpleexample how iTAC’s Analytics Solution can bringbenefit to the customer.
Data that is written and collected in theiTAC.MES can also be used, in order to predictequipment failure early.
• Collection of measurement data
• Data stored in iTAC.MES (QM)
• Dispersal of data is often an indicator for an(upcoming) fault – even when data is stillvalidated as good.
Approach: Detect dispersal in data early andsend a warning.
