CLUB MEMBERSHIP

In preparation for the annual shareholders‟ meeting on December 13, the Finance Committee

will be meeting to summarize the finances for the year 2010 and prepare the budget for 2011.

In order for the committee to more accurately create the 2011 budget, knowing the membershipnumbers is critical to this process. According to the By-Laws, Article III, Section 1 and 2, readsas follows (briefly):

“It shall be the duty of the Secretary to close the books of the Club on January 1st of each year

and proceed to bill all members of the Club for current dues. All dues become due and payableon the first day of January each year. Such dues may be paid in two (2) semi-annual install-ments. The first installment shall become due the first day of January each year and shall be-come delinquent on and after the first day of February. The subsequent installments shall bedue the first day of April each year.”

We are hoping each and every member stays with us in the coming year, but since annual duesare so vital to our operation, it becomes critical for members to advise, in writing, their plans towithdraw membership prior to the end of the year.

If your membership status has changed for 2011, please notify Andrea Scott or April Kent assoon as possible in order that you are billed correctly.
