Transitions in the Office—a note from Jen It is with bitter-sweet sentiments that I announce my family will be moving to South Korea this sum- mer due to my husbands job in the US Army. We will be returning to Columbia (and Harmony!) in two years and I will truly miss the students, staff, and families during our time away. On the bright side you will be blessed with the skills and talents of Reshma Lustman (Leahs mom) as she has al- ready begun her training in the office! She is the owner of Blue Silk Photgraphy and most recently owned a bakery in Columbiana mall. Reshs en- ergetic and caring personality combined with her passion for Harmony will make her a wonderful school administrator! The office will have a seamless transition as Resh and I will be working together until mid-June. My position as school administrator here has been life changing for me and I have every intention of staying connected to the community—even if from the other side of the globe! As the great philosopher Arnold once said, Ill be back”. There’s A LOT going on at Harmony this month... Tapping Workshop On Wednesday, March 21st @ 6:30pm Debbie will lead a workshop on a technique called Tap- ping. Also known as EFT, tapping is a powerful holistic healing technique that we use at Harmo- ny School to effectively resolve a range of issues, including stress, anxiety, range, and misbehavior. Please see the event on Harmonys Facebook Page for more details. Family Work Day/Book Fair Our Spring parent/staff workday is Sunday, March 26th from 1 - 4pm. Please mark your calendar to help accomplish some wonderful projects at Harmony School! This is a great opportunity for our children to see the Harmony community coming together to care for our beloved school. Chil- dren are encouraged to attend! We will also have a Usborne Book representative present for a book fair. There will be books available that focus on topics covered in recent and upcoming units of study as well as peace and diversity. The book fair will begin at 12pm. Science Fair Please join us on Wednesday March 14th from 78pm for our annual Science Fair! Kindergarten and Elementary students will showcase their hard work on a variety of sci- ence experiments. The event will be located in the Elementary building—all are welcome to attend!
