Messiah

Bath Choral Society is delighted to announce a return to the annual performance of Messiah which opens the season of Christmas music in Bath Abbey. This will also be the first Messiah to be presented using the new seating arrangements of the transformed Abbey. Messiah tells the story of Christ’s life in solo arias and magnificent choruses, from ‘For unto us a child is born’ through the ‘hallelujah’ chorus and ‘The trumpet shall sound’ to the final Amen.

George Bevan will conduct the choir and Bristol Ensemble.
