The HANABI Metaphase Automated Spreader Support Plan includes the

following bene"ts:

ADS BIOTEC realizes the importance of maintaining your laboratory’s smooth

and e#cient operation. The HANABI Metaphase Automated Spreader requires

appropriate care and maintenance for optimal performance. Planning

post-warranty maintenance is a critical part of laboratory management.

Through the HANABI Metaphase Automated Spreader Support Plan, we take

care of all your postwarranty service needs. This plan includes an annual pre-

ventative maintenance program and emergency service support to minimize

unscheduled downtime for repairs.

- One annual preventative maintenance visit at no additional charge.

- Emergency service visits as required to address operational failures.

- Replacement parts provided at no charge (excludes consumables and routine

replacement parts such as lamps, "lters, PTFE tubing and couplers).

- Travel and labor expenses associated with preventative maintenance and

emergency visits are included.

- Telephone Hotline Support.

Metaphase Automated Spreader Support Plan

ADS Biotec provides HANABI Metaphase Automated Spreader post-warranty preventative mainte-

nance and service support to help ensure optimal performance and minimize unnecessary down-

time.

The HANABI Metaphase Automated Spreader Support Plan is available as either annual or multi-year

agreements. The plan includes the following:

1. One annual preventative maintenance visit.

a) Check or replace both slide aspirator silicon gaskets.

b) Check or replace dispenser piston, body and o-ring.

c) Lubricate axis 1X, 1Y, 2Z.

d) Lubricate rails 1X, 1Y, 2Z.

e) Check tubing direction and route.

f ) Clean optical sensors.

g) Check compressor, drain if necessary.

h) Check barcode reader alignment.

i) Check barcode reader response.

j) Clean fan "lters.

2. Emergency service visits as required to address operational failures.

3. Replacement parts provided at no charge (excludes consumables and routine replacement

parts such as lamps, "lters, PTFE tubing and couplers).

4. Travel and labor expenses associated with preventative maintenance and emergency visits are

included.

5. Telephone Hotline Support.

6. Discount on post-installation operator training – 25% o$ list price.

7. Emergency repair and preventative maintenance is typically performed during normal working

hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coverage during non-standard working

hours can be arranged under special circumstances. Customer agrees to provide safe conditions

and access to the instrument for this work.

8. ADS Biotec is the only authorized service provider under the plan. The use of unauthorized

subcontractors invalidates all warranties on the instrument.

9. The plan does not cover any cost for repair if damage to the instrument is a result of abuse,

neglect,vandalism, acts of God, or the use, repair or modi"cation of the instrument contrary to the

speci"cation or instructions supplied by ADS Biotec.
