've successfully installed Standard DSO: 0FITX_O03 (FITX: Sales Tax Data) from BI Content, after installation I've copied transfer rules into transformation which changed standard 3.x InfoSource according to new DataFlow of BI 7.0 and thenI've migrated 3.x DataSource: 0FI_TX_4 into BI 7.0 DataFlow. As, the DataSource: 0FI_TX_4 was Delta Compatible,

you can use the Datasource 2LIS_13_VDITM, which has the field MWSBP(tax), whichbrings tax information to BW and the same datasource also has Division, Sales District ,Sales Office etc, which can be used to derive State and you can stage this data in a billing item DSO (go to RSA1-- Business Content--> Datasources (select 2LIS_13_VDITM) and change grouping to Dataflow after and you will information about staging this datasource in BW (DSO, Cubes etc ).

0FI_TX_4 datasource delivers any FI postings made with a tax code. Mostly taxeson sales/purchases. We use it as a VAT reconcilliation report. The base table is

 BSET which basically refers to RFBLG.The working of this datasource is exactly like that of other 0FI_*_4 datasources. Also the possibility of activating the minute based extraction.

1.Is this datasource just built on BSET or are any other tables involved?2. I don't see the update mode field in datasource. Then how does this capture delta?3. I am trying to get the texts for Tax code field (MWSKZ) into the BW report. I checked the table T007S. But i need 'procedure' value also to get the exact text for tax code. i don't find any common fields except MWSKZ in both tables (BSET and T007S) to link the tables. Any idea on this?

1. BSET is the only table involved. But there might be look-ups. For example I lookup Bus.Area from BSEG.2. The delta works exactly like your FI-GL extractor. It's based on BWFI_AEDAT & BWOM2_TIMEST table.3. I don't know what "Procedure" means. But I couldn't find anything similar tothat in the DS. Maybe you want to verify with an FI consultant. One more thing you need to remember is to check whether your business has "Plant Abroad" functionality enabled.What the function module behind the extractor does is that it copies the amountfrom country currency to local currency. 

So, you will see that your extractor will fetch you values which are correct for document currency but wrong for the other two currencies. We had opened a message with SAP asking why they do this? (Our business doesn't need this). They came back saying that's how it is. And if you want the exact values as in table BSET, you will have to fetch them using CMOD because they won't change the function module.
