Hamlet

A comedy by William Shakespeare

By Harun RaffiThe Comedy of ErrorsShakespeares Globe Theatre presentsThe Globe TheaterShakespeares Globe Theater has a rich and exciting history! The Globe Theater was first built in 1576, by a man named James Burbage in London. A few years later, a law was passed in London, dictating that theater was illegal. Due to this, the Globe had to be torn down and moved to Southwark, the bad side of town. After a few years, a cannon shot set fire to the Globes thatch roof, and burned it down. Once again, the Globe was rebuilt, only to be shut down by Puritans. It was only until the 20th century that the Globe was rebuilt again, by a man named Samuel Wanamaker. Today the Globe is rebuilt in all its former glory. The theater is now an almost exact replica of Shakespeares original Globe. In conclusion, Shakespeares Globe Theaters exciting history was fascinating, and the Globe will continue to be amazing in the future.

Unfortuantely, the couple gets separated, each having a boy of each pair, and coincidentally name the boys exactly the same: Antipholus is the name of the rich one, and Dromio is the name of the servant. Aegeon one day travels to Ephesus, where he is captured by the Duke, who sentences him to death unless his fine is paid. Will Antipholus of Syracuse be able to get him the money? Or will his twin get in the way?The Comedy of Errors!

The Comedy of Errors: Scene 1The very first scene is where the Duke tells Aegeon he has to get 1000 marks before the day ends, or he will die. Aegeon is being held by the buff officer.
