Hal M. Roseman, MD, MPH Attending Cardiologist Cardiology Wellness Center Private Practice Nashville, Tennessee Hal M. Roseman, MD, MPH, is a cardiologist in private practice in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Hal Roseman has been trained in all phases of general cardiology, including nuclear and echocardiographic testing, pacemaker technology and implantation, and invasive and interventional treatments. However, his recent principal professional focus has been preventive cardiology. After earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Roseman earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis and his master of public health degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, specializing in epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis (a University of Tennessee affiliate), his residencies in internal medicine at both the US Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, New York, and Waterbury General Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut (a Yale University hospital affiliate), and subsequent fellowships in cardiology in the Brown University hospital system and nuclear cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston (a Harvard University affiliate). A frequent national lecturer, Dr. Roseman is a member of such professional societies as the American College of Nuclear Physicians, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Vascular Biology Work Group, and the American Diabetes Association. He is a standing Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Cardiology. He is a diplomat of the National Lipid Association and is a specialty member of the American Society of Hypertension. He has served actively as an expert medical-legal witness and a forensic cardiologist in the area of malpractice and worker’s compensation related to cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Roseman founded the Cardiology Wellness Center as a consultative-based clinical practice directed to primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases, based upon enhancing endothelial function, by using evidence-based medicine and lifestyle modification.
