Catering Tender Form 2017 - 2018 for LA.S. Coaching & Guidance Cell (C&GC)

Tender Notice / Terms & Conditions

Sealed tenders are invited from local bidders for catering and supply of food forlAS & Allied Services Coaching & Guidance Cell Students, Bait-ul-Hujjaj (HajHouse), Haj Committee of India, Mumbai.

1. Blank Tender Forms are available on Non-Refundable payment of Rs.500/­(Rupees Five Hundred Only) through demand draft favouring "Haj Committee ofIndia" in the office of Haj Committee of India, Bait-ul-Hujjaj (Haj House), Director,lAS Coaching & Guidance Cell, 10th floor, Mumbai - 400 001 during workinghours 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs on every working day from the date of publication oftender upto 15:00 hrs on 17.08.2017. Tender forms can also be downloaded fromwebsite www.hajcommittee.gov.in. In any case the form has to be submitted withRs.500 / - through demand draft of a nationalised bank drawn in faour of "HajCommittee of India".

2. Sealed tenders should be submitted in the office of Director, lAS Coaching &Guidance Cell (C&GC), Bait-ul-Hujjaj (Haj House), Room No.1001, 10th floor,Mumbai - 400001 on or before 17.08.2017x8* at 15:00 hrs.

3. The tender is to be submitted in two separate envelopes marked as under:-Envelope No.1 (Technical Bid) shall contain:

• Rs.500/- Non-refundable Tender Fee (demand draft)• Rs.10,OOO/-EMD(demand draft)• Copy of PANCard• Copy of catering management/ experience certificate• Catering experience at least for two years• Proof of valid registration certificate in appropriate class of contractor,

issued by the Competent Authority• Certified copy of Income Tax assessment/ clearance pertaining to last two

financial years.• The contractor should have necessary license / permission from the State

Government/Municipal Corporation/Public Health Department andother authorities to run the catering/ canteen services.

• The Bidder shall produce original certificates/license/documents at thetime of opening of tender.

4. Envelope No.2 (Financial Bid) shall contain only the printed tender form dulyfilled-up and signed.

(Both the sealed envelopes are to be submitted at the same time)

5. The sealed tenders submitted without documents/EMD will not be considered.

6. If the applicant for Tender does not hold a valid license under Food Safety andStandards Act, 2006 on the date of purchase of Tender, having applied for license orfor its renewal, he will be allowed to purchase tender documents, on submission ofcertified copy of the acknowledgement issued by concerned authorities for receipt ofapplication form the applicant for issue of license/renewal of license. Whilesubmitting the bids, the bidder shall give an undertaking to the effect that if histender was accepted and contract awarded to him, he shall submit certified copy ofthe license, within a period of 2 months from the date of award of contract or withinsuch extended period of time, to be granted on requisition. Any breach of the aboveundertaking shall be construed as a breach of the terms of award of contract.

7. The contract should execute a performance guarantee equivalent Rs.20,000/­in the form of Ban guarantee. In case of non-performance, Rs.l ,000/ - per day will bepenalized.

8. Contractor shall furnish declaration that he has not been debarred/blacklisted.from tendering by any authority/Agency.

9. The Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is to be produced by the successfulbidder within one month in respect of the staff who are likely to be deputed atcanteen.
