Main features:

» Two sets of individual hydraulic ejection systems, with a variety of selectable ejection modes available.

» High performance directional and proportional valves are used for controlling the hydraulic motor or servo motor installed on the dual cavity molds and the bi-directional 180º turntable, with pressure and velocity controlled stage by stage for fast, consistent and exact production.

» Turntable is fixed with imported needle bearings, for favorable positioning and helpful for mould protection.

» Cooling water demanded by the movable platen can be easily connected from the turntable, to avoid water hose being tangled and intervened.

» Two sets of independent proportional pressure and flow controlled oil circuits are applied to drive two sets of injection units and two sets of hydraulic ejection units.

» Transducers are used to control the strokes of two sets of injection units, two sets of ejection units, as well as mold open/ close.

» The specially designed turntable on the movable platen ensures that one set of two-color moulds turning out two-color products and ensures two sets of common moulds (with the same mold thickness) turning out two kinds of different products at the same time.

After injecting for the first time, the machine conducts mold open and rotates the turntable along with the mould through 180°. After centring on the mold cavity, the machine conducts the second injection, at this stage, the first “component” and the second “component” are simultaneously injected. On the next cycle, the turntable rotates 180°.

Main features:

» Products with different components or colors from the inside layer and outside layer can be processed and molded one time instead of twice.

» By freely combining different color components, the appearance of outdated product can be altered without the mold being changed.

» External component and core components can use reinforced raw material or non-reinforced raw material respectively, so as to achieve the best product performance and material cost ratio.

» Core component can use recycled waste or low-quality material or foaming material to reduce cost.

» External component adopts superior performance materials with particular surface or electromagnetic wave anti-interference.

» Proper combination of external component and core component can decrease residual stress and increase product strength.

Main features:

» Co-injecting and molding: Two components are synchronously or sequentially injected into the same cavity through two gates, when they meet together, it forms one or many connecting lines.

» Mould structure adopts mould core retraction or movable gate, separating the two-color / two-component molding.

The rotating shaft two-color injection molding machine includes two sets of parallel positioned injection units, with additional core pull and rotating mechanism driven by servo motor (rotating shaft) available.

Product Applications: Such as brushes, screwdrivers, cutters and so on, usually a pre-moulded part is produced from the first component in the initial process step, which is then encapsulated with other components.

Main features:

1. Two sets of parallel single-cylinder injection units simplify the machine construction.

2. Mould core rotation is controlled by close-loop servo motor for quick and accurate positioning.

3. Rotating shaft is equipped with cooling water system - convenient for mould core cooling water connection.

With this process, the pre-moulded part is injected in the first step, and then is encapsulated with the second component, which is much more accurate than loading inserts by robot. With faster cycles is suitable for larger yields and high precision components. The two injections phases are conducted simultaneously – shortening production cycles and improving production efficiency.

Once the first plastic component has been injected and molded, the mold opens together with the mold substrate core and work piece moving away from the moving platen. The rotating mechanism rotates mold substrate core and work piece through 180°, centring on the other mold cavity, and system continues with mold clamping. Then the machine starts the second injecting and molding phase. The first plastic injection and molding phase is synchronous with the second one. For the second injection cycle, the rotating shaft rotates 180° conversely.

The Haitian Iapetus Series uses a control system

with a twin CPU, which provides the ideal commu-

nication between the injection molding machine

and the operator. The full digital control system is

steady, reliable and makes machine operation easy

and user-oriented.

The control system supports remote monitoring,

which means that in case of a problem the machi-

ne can be connected to internet through a special

interface. Haitian service can check and conduct

system diagnosis online.
