Hadith A person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said

“Asalamu-Alaikum”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Ten”.

Another person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said “Asalamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullah”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Twenty”.

Another person came to the Prophet (SAW) and said “Asalamu-Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh”. The Prophet returned the greeting and said “Thirty”.

permission to come in. He said: “May I come in?” The Prophet thereupon told his servant to go and tell him the correct way to take permission to enter was to say: “Asalamu-Alaikum, may I come in?”
