Function

Something that exists at the heart ofevery farm!

Simple and effective solutions to the farm’s need for seating, vegetable storage and shop display space

Interaction

People getting involved make aproject worthwhile!

We wanted the design to be bothflexible and fun with this concept.

Re-use

Leading by example will alwaysencourage those to follow!

We wanted to find a way to reinvent the material to incorporate our other concepts

Pallet locations

Why Pallets ?

It is good practice to always build from what is locally abundant. In the UK alone, millions of pallets end up in landfill every year !

In a rural location you build from the surrounding woodland. In an urban location (Hackney) packing pallets are the equivalent provided by the nearby industrial ecosystem. With a little creativity re-used materials have potential to take on a new function - as inspired by the precedents below
