Floor Level Low Beam

Like our Practice Beam, the Low Beam is designed for basic instruction and due to its compact size is popular for home training use for the young gymnast. The beam is 3.5m long and 100 mm wide with timber top covered in heavy duty canvas. Overall height of the beam is 135 mm. Practice Balance Beam

Designed primarily for Intermediate, Primary school and basic instruction at club level. The beam is 3.5m long and 100 mm wide and is covered in heavy duty canvas. The height of the beam is adjustable from 600 to 900 mm in 50 mm increments. The Beam support is zinc plated and the legs are powder coated in 'Gymleader' blue and fitted with non marking feet. The Gymleader Olympic Style Aluminium Beam is a truly top performer. The beam itself is manufactured from custom designed aluminium extrusions riveted together to produce a perfectly proportioned and accurate beam top. The legs are adjustable using a posi-tive pin locator making it suitable for both novice and advanced gymnasts. The top features foam padding which helps with comfort for the gymnast whilst not removing the feel. Gymleader 3/4 Junior Beatboard

A lighter duty beatboard has often been requested but trials have shown that a full size board fitted with fewer springs can mean a less durable board especially if used by larger gymnasts. The junior board is a development of the well proven full size Gymleader Beatboard. It features the same type of steel frame and laminated and shaped timber top as the full size model, quite simply, made shorter and fitted with only two conical springs. The top measures 600 mm wide and 900 mm long and is fully padded and upholstered. The base is fitted with non marking feet to prevent damage to the floor, and wheels are fitted making moving the board very easy. The shorter size helps to deter larger gymnasts who prefer the full size board, however, the design and method and construction will still withstand an adult - they will just not get the rebound result they may like. Sportmat Liteboard - 3/4 Size

To meet the need for an entry level Beatboard which is both light weight and cost effective we have manufactured the Sportmat Liteboard. The design was tested and finalised with the aid of a championship winning coach and the result is an excellent novice or junior grade Beatboard. The board is 3/4 size and uses marine bonded ply wood for the top and a simple zinc plated steel frame with 3 springs. The springs are the same as those used for the more competitive Sportmat recoil board, but their spacing and the design of the Liteboard gives it a nice easy bounce. The top of the Beatboard is fully padded and upholstered in heavy duty carpet. The Liteboard ideal for the young novice gymnast up to Intermediate age. Ref: 080/050 Sportmat Liteboard

System Reuther Beatboard

A traditional all wooden design of beatboard manufactured from laminated hardwood veneers to make a very strong beatboard. This board features a fully padded and upholstered top. The legs feature non marking pads to prevent the board moving during use and prevent damage to the sports floor. This Three section box horse is manufactured from urethane foam and covered in heavy duty PVC. Each section is 300 mm high and the sections join with hook and loop style fasteners. The standard colour is blue but multicoloured is an option. The standard foam box is supplied in 3 layers Layer 1 is the bottom, layer 2 is the middle and layer 3 is the top section An optional 4th section is available which is in three pieces and fits on top of section number 3. Vaulting Box Horse

New Zealand’s finest Box Horse, constructed from medium density fibreboard for consistency of construction. The horse is in five sections to cater for wide age group level and the top is fully padded and upholstered in either durable vinyl or genuine leather. All timberwork is finished in two coats of clear finish and the box is fitted with non marking feet. Box Horses can be fitted with a spring operated transporter mechanism to the bottom section. To operate, lift one end of the horse and the non marking wheels flip into position for ease of movement to storage. Although this feature is an option - it is highly recommended for ease of use. A traditional style vaulting horse with fully padded and upholstered canvas top. The vault can be ordered with or without pommel handles and if fitted they are removable. The vault is mounted on Parallel feet with supports which are height adjustable with the aid of a plunger system. A secondary safety lock is also provided. Wall Mounted Horizontal Bar

A regulation sized horizontal bar which has one upright attached to a wall. This system is recommended for tuition in a class situation where the equipment setup and set down must be both quick and straight forward. Guy ropes are included as well all brackets and floor plates. Installation instructions are provided, however due to differing situations, fitting hardware is not included. Sportmat Traditional Uneven Bars

These bars are a complete system supplied with all tension wires and floorplates. They are easily erected and are fully adjustable with fast thread winders. The bars are custom manufactured fibreglass rails laminated with timber veneer. Each rail is fitted with aluminium castings. Installation of the four floorplates is required. 2 Section Combar Unit

The Combar is a versatile piece of equipment for any Gymnasium. Wooden frames are manufactured from Pine 'Clears' and Hard Wood is used for all of the rails. The system features a steel support structure which allows the frames to be swung out from the wall in a gate fashion, where they are locked into place. The adjustable height Horizontal Bar can then be fitted across the front of the unit. When used in conjunction with other gym equipment, the Combar frame offers a great variety of teaching options. Retractable Rope System - 6 metre ropes

Used in most school and recreation centres throughout New Zealand, the retractable rope system is well proven and reliable. With no two venues being the same, each rope set is manufactured to order. The standard system comes complete with all runners, pulleys, hangers and 6 climbing ropes ready to mount onto a suitable steel beam in the roof structure. We do not supply the steel beam but are quite happy to assist with the system design. Rope ladders are available which can either substitute two ropes or be added to the 6 ropes provided the support beam is long enough. A 3.5m wooden Swedish bench of the traditional design. We manufacture these with strong steel legs for improved durability and large rubber feet prevent floor damage. Buffers on the bench top help protect both the top and the floor when the bench is used upside down for beam exercises. A wooden block is fixed to the underside of the bench top at each end.
