GYANSAROVAR 12.0 GEARING UP FOR INDUSTRY 4.O Gyansarovar is an academic event organized by the department of Management and technology, RCOEM. It was the 12th year that department of management and technology has successfully conducted gyansarovar. This year the theme for it was “Gearing up for industry 4.0”.The event was planned for 3 days – 6th, 7th and 8th of March. In the first half of each day, plenary sessions and panel discussions were planned for illuminating and filling in the students on various subjects. Second half was dedicated for Management Games. On day one, the event was inaugurated by Mr Shekhar Chikhale, COO of Lemken India Agro Equipment Pvt. Ltd. along with our HOD sir Dr. Chandan Vichoray, Dr. Neeta Shah, SDC faculty coordinator Dr. Ruchi Sao, SDC Vice President Mr Harshal Thakare and SDC joint Secretary Mr Ayush Agrawal. The inaugural ceremony was followed by the keynote address which was given by Mr Shekhar Chikhale himself. He talked about all the opportunities and challenges that 4 th Industrial Revolution has brought and will bring in future for the management graduates followed by a panel discussion on “FinTech: Impact of technology in the area of finance”. The panellists for the same were MD of SMS Envocare Ltd. CA Hemant Kumar Lodha, Partner at T S Rawal & Co., CA Tejinder Singh Rawal, Independent Accounting Professional CA Sandeep Jotwani and Project Head Additional VP at RCCPL, MP Birla Group, Mr Abhijeet Dutta. They discussed about how the advancement in technology is impacting the area of finance. The session was moderated by Prof. Tanmay Gupta sir. In the 2 nd half of 6 th March, Management games- Dalal street and HR minds were organized and we received huge participation from various MBA Institutes of Nagpur. Day 2 began with a plenary session on Role of data analytics in industry 4.0 which was addressed by Chief technology Officer, Pix Transmission, Mr Girish Mandlik. He gave insights to the students about the preparedness required by students to face industry 4.0. This plenary session was followed by a panel discussion on “automation in the field of HR”. The panellists for the same were Assistant HR Manager, Hindalco industries Ltd. Mrs Madhuri Helchel and HR specialist, Lupin ltd. Mr Arpit Rahamatkar. The discussion was moderated by Mr Rajiv Khaire sir. The first half of day 2 ended with plenary session which was conducted by GM (operations), Ashok Leyland ltd. Mr M N Lakhote. He spoke about the opportunities and challenges in manufacturing automation. In the 2 nd half of day 2, business quiz testing the business acumen and Kotler’s yard ascertaining the marketing and selling skills of students were organized which received huge response from the enthusiastic students.

GYANSAROVAR 12.0 GEARING UP FOR INDUSTRY 4.O

Gyansarovar is an academic event organized by the department of Management and

technology, RCOEM. It was the 12th year that department of management and technology

has successfully conducted gyansarovar. This year the theme for it was “Gearing up for

industry 4.0”.The event was planned for 3 days – 6th, 7th and 8th of March. In the first half

of each day, plenary sessions and panel discussions were planned for illuminating and filling

in the students on various subjects. Second half was dedicated for Management Games.

On day one, the event was inaugurated by Mr Shekhar Chikhale, COO of Lemken India

Agro Equipment Pvt. Ltd. along with our HOD sir Dr. Chandan Vichoray, Dr. Neeta Shah,

SDC faculty coordinator Dr. Ruchi Sao, SDC Vice President Mr Harshal Thakare and SDC

Day 3 started with the final round of business quiz and the game bob the builder which was

an operations specialized game. The last day was proceeded by a digital marketing session

which was conducted by partner and digital marketing head, Buzo media. He spoke on the

changing trends on the digital platform.

Throughout the 3 days event a photography exhibition and competition: “OH Snap” was held

and received maximum participation.

The three day event provided a blend of theory and practical hands on knowledge. The

learning’s were used by the students during the management games and everyone came out

as winners.
