Video streaming

The GY-LS300CHE streaming encoder creates push-type UDP or TCP streams.

Stream is being pushed from the camera to specified IP address of decoder.

Streaming via 3G/4G LTE modems requires that decoder is directly connected to the web.

The only few examples of direct connection are laptop with LTE modem or LTE-enabled tablet / smartphone.

In all other cases, computers are connected to the internet via switch / router or Wi-Fi Access Point.

All IP addresses on LAN are local and are not accessible from the web.

To enable UDP stream from the web to reach any particular device on LAN,  Port Forwarding needs to configured. DMZ can be used, as an option, to expose all decoder ports to the web. See your router User Manual for “WAN - Port Forwarding / DMZ configuration”
