With reference to the song that has been released from this album encourages the consumer to become aware that this is the artist of this song, as many would listen to the radio and may be unsure of who sung this particular song.

Having the website is a key feature as it makes the artist become more accessible and easy to reach for their music. It shows a trend in time and how there is a new method which is due to the advancing of media products such as the internet.

Gwen Stefani is well known for her elaborate and distinctive style which enables the

producers of this specific magazine advert for her new album quite easy as she has already

created an established style which is popular internationally, therefore, the creativity it could

be said stems from her. The font creates a star image which is unique and innovative as we

have never seen anything like this, she has adopted many of the styles of the Eastern World,

which is portrayed in the outfit both the magazine and album,  again this creates an image of

an established star with her target audience satisfied as this is what they expect of Gwen

Stefani.

In this magazine advert, the makers have informed the consumer that this album contains the

song 'Rich Girl' featuring Eve which would be popular amongst her fans as well as general

mainstream music listeners. It is promoting the music video as well as the audience, thus a

connection is made throughout as we recognise the song and then we immediately a

simulate that thought into the release of her new album. The artist is the central point of the

magazine, it shows that this is an artist who has reached the peak of her success in the music

industry and she is well known amongst many. Her make up has interesting to note as red

lipstick is a signifier of power and authority as well as embraces her femininity, as well as her

peroxide blonde hair which gives an angelic aspect to the advertisement. It is clearly aimed

towards females of perhaps all ages as it is sophisticated, creative and new which is what

listeners what to listen to, a fresh wave of music.

The use of colour scheme is of significance as we understand the direction of creativity and

thought. The yellow and white highlights Stefani's eccentric style as this is not a common

colour used, as yellow has the ability to knock the class and sophistication out of a product,

however, she has made a success of this through the simplicity of it. The colours main focus

point is the border, which is not overbearing or uncomfortable for ones eye, it is about

pleasing the consumer and meeting the target audiences' satisfaction. There is usually a

website promoted on the magazine as it is a platform of communication towards the artist and

the consumer, you get to entice them more into looking further into buying the album, which

creates then a platform to success.
