  • 9 INTERN TITLE & RESPONSIBILITIES I have interned in a live-event organizer, and lead me to learn about the processes in creating a concert, show sequences/set-lists, and speaking scripts for artist in the concert. I have learned wide range of tricks and techniques to create different expression of the concert also take the opportunity to being an artist assistant to promote concert in such TV show, and event promoter. In any concert making process, a concrete concept of the creator need to meet the audience demand from approached artist. A-time Showbiz has mostly known as a concept concert creator means that the department usually be made a variety concert show in various styles such as: a special collaboration (Dee-Seefa concert, Dare to Dance concert, 6-2-13 concert), talk concert show (Opal on Stage, Kotee Caf on Stage), and artist lifetime anniversary celebration (J20 Concert, Turn Back Time with Tata Concert) those concerts are mostly use big name pop-artist of GMM Grammy, along with the legendary musicians and famous celebrities to be a center part to representing the concrete idea of concert performance, and also gain attention of the fans. STUDENT EXPERIENCES I have involved in the part of internship and trainee of A-time Showbiz for 5 projects, in 2 consecutive years (2013-2014) for different period of months including: May-June 2013 6-2-13 Reunion Concert (Various Artists) June-July-August 2014 Nantida The Show Must Go On (Nantida Kaewbuasai) 3 yaak pak waan Episode 3 (Aof-Pop-Wan) October 2014 Give Me 5 Concert Rate A (Various Artists)

  • 10 6-2-13 Reunion Concert

Artists: J-Jetrin, Christina Aguilar, Tata Young, Mos Patiparn, Nat Myria and UHT Period: May 03, 2013 to May 05, 2013 Shows: 5 rounds (Sold-out) Venue: Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand) Descriptives: The greatest collaboration from the 6 superstars in 1997 for 6 2 12 has been the most remarkable music phenomenon for the past 20 years. Everybody knew what 6 2 12 was all about. J Jetrin Wattanasin, Christina Aguilar, Mos Patiparn Pattaweekarn, Tata Young, UHT and Nat Myria represented the massive hits in the special album 6 2 12 such as Yahtam Yahtam by Nat Myria, Rak Gun Loei by Mos, Khon Bab Chan by Tata Young, Took Natee

Hai Ther by UHT, Chan Ja Ror Doo by Christina and Cheewit Kwamrak Namjjai by Jetrin. Those hits single made the album reached to 2,000,000 copies sold within just 1 month and won the Platinum record indeed. Moreover, 6 2 12 concert at Army Stadium on Feb 10, 1997 was recorded as the greatest audiences number in this concert (approximately 50,000 audiences) In 2013, 6 2 12 teamed back to make a new legacy record with the very first reunion concert in 17 years later of the original 6 superstars in 6.2.13 Concert to transform Royal Paragon Hall to be a biggest dance-floor for the 90s TPOP lovers.

  • 11 Commercial responses: 6 2 13 Reunion Concert was one of the largest concert production of A-time Showbiz to date, due to its big-name of singers that joined the stage that they all are legendary superstars of the country. The theme of the concert use songs from 1997 original 6 2 12 album as an opening act, fellow with sections from artist-to-artist, from Nat Myria, UHT, Mos, Christina, Tata Young and J Jetrin and ending with the medleys of all those superstars all-time hits in the past century. The attended audience shared very energetic nostalgia feeling for the show. Every performances of the concert served rightly for those die-hard fans since 17 years ago of those superstars, and bring back for all those good memories along with the hit classic tunes, memorable dance moves, and legend singers in the fleshy and brand-new style. Audience receptions: The concert received mostly positive review from the audience due to the appropriateness in choosing song lists and sequences, and all tickets were sold-out in every 5-round of show services. Many audiences praised A-time Showbiz for being taking chance and make the impossible happen, that the project seemed to difficult to develop as a reunion concert project due to the long distance of those stars to be reunite, but A-time made it. The most acclaimed attraction served into Tata Youngs part. This is because in the last 10 years that she havent been involve with Thai music industry, she the moved out of her first GMM Grammy label to become an international artist and it seemed difficult for her to be back in this project. By the time of Tatas performance on stage, she sang very good oldies of her from the past in Thai language to resemble her as an original amazing girl of Thailand. These fans acclaimed led her to create her own live performance with A-time Showbiz next year after called Turn Back Time with Tata to served for fan demands. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: General Coordinator & Usher Student was responsible to maintenance of the peace and welcome all concert attendants, with ALL AREA sign-hanging on the neck as an organizer staff. Widely known as big dance-floor concert, 6 2 13 reunion concert led the audiences to not seated properly and standing up to get dance along with their favorite tunes. These possibly caused attended audiences not seated as their booked ticket and may chaotic by their dancing and walk following the performers on the stage. It leads me to taking care of the atmosphere to be properly as much as possible, also not let the dancing ambience to be too riot by the audience.

  • 12 Internship Notes: 6 2 13 Reunion Concert was the very first concert that i participated as A-time Showbiz trainee. Since i wasnt participate in any pre or during production process of the show, but an internship administer let me began to work on-ground at the first day at Royal Paragon Hall. The show was become phenomenal among 90s Grammy T-POP lovers due to its all sold-out tickets and big name of stars attached to the show. I had a very good time during the intern working days at Royal Paragon Hall. This is because concert had such a very good meterials of songs, artists, stage productions, audiences and venue that shared together in 3-day and 5-round of the concert, and it easily become good first impression for me as an interner of A-time Showbiz by this concert. • 15 Nantida The Show Must Go On (Nantida Kaewbuasai)

Artists: Nantida Kaewbuasai Period: July 12, 2014 Shows: 1 round Venue: Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand) Descriptives: Nantida Kaewbuasai, who is billed on promotional posters as the real diva of the country, returns to the stage with NantidaThe Show Must Go On, during which she will have special guests, dancers and backing singers to complete the show. The Show Musit Go On is celebrating for all 30 years of being a singer, standing on the stage to sing for everyone who Nantida love and loves Nantida is the most precious thing to her. Since she admit that she never thought that she going to have own concert in the best production, that make her so glad to become one of the part of A-time Showbiz production. Nantida herself also thankful that A-time Showbiz and her fans all still thinking of her and still wanna see her solo concert. In addition, this concert is made by one of her beloved sister P Chod Saithip Montreekul Na Ayudhya and Atime Showbiz as well as all of her talented musicians and dancers.

  • 16 Commercial responses: Nantida The Show Must Go On was the concert to celebrating 30th year of being in a singing career of legendary diva of Thailand Nantida Kaewbuasai, and remains her one of the most important person of Thai music industry. Since the performance date initially planned to be in 1st February, but due to the not typical situation by political mobs around Siam Paragon area at February. The concert had to postpone to set a schedule to be in July (the case also happens to another A-time Showbiz Project 3 yaak pak waan that will be discuss later). The theme of the show sets to praise her only diva, by long-time of the career along with her many classic hits mostly in ballads and oldies. The ticket got 80-90% sold, received a commercial moderated from the audiences but have such praised the concert as one of the best Showbiz concert. Audience receptions: The concert recieved many positive review from an attended audiences, and praised one of the most impressive concert. The concert has opened only 1-time due to poor tickets sale compared to previous A-time Showbiz performances, but the production itself can be easily attract to the attended audience by the professional of Nantida and her special guests and dazzling show. Many of attendants are mature and easy-listening pop lover mostly in 25-60 year-old, they also seated properly, sung along well through every songs, cheered and cried by the performance of Nantida. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Radio Scripts creator and Artist assistant (Nantida Kaewbuasai and Nueng ETC (Guest))

  • 17 Since the show was already well planned in its production including songlists, spectacle and theme. The remain post-production process was to advertise the concept to be known by the public, in order to boost sale as much as possible. Student recieved the request from Head of the Office to create a creative questions to ask Nantida in order to see her unseen part, and record her answers as a radio spot to be air in every A-time Media radios. I have made few questions that most of them were approved, and actually made a real interview to Nantida Kaewbuasai. During the rehearsal days, I responsed to taking care of Nantida Kaewbuasai by follow her dancing and singing reheasal at GMM Grammy Place building. Day-byday, Nantida had to concentrate on her concert by singing well on stage as well as her health and appearance looking well. It was important for her and me to took care of her by use a warm water with an organic food to serve for her during the reheasal, plus with the special taking care of her physical and body because of her ages. During the concert date, I was response to taking care of Neung ETC one of the guest of the concert. The important part of being a caretaker was to send him to the stage safely as well as served him an appropriate foods and drinks in order to him feel ready to get on the stage. Internship Notes: I wasnt expect or seeking for fun experience much in Nantida The Show Must Go On at first, but the concert gave me beyond expectation. The concert owner Nantida Kaewbuasai have been widely admirable by many younger artists, and being one of the most important artist of GMM Grammy from the very beginning that led me a little bit nervous by participate to her project due to her highness reputation and being such a diva, but i was wrong. Nantida was the most humble, loveable and professional singer ive ever experienced. Ive known by everything that the production crews in the office put the efforts to making Nantida concert as its best as much as they can because they are all admire and love Nantida. No matter how many ticket sales, or not many attended audience in hall as much as other Showbiz mainsteamed concert, The Show Must Go On remains one of the most admirable live concert ive ever experience, with the stories and songs that goes along on the performance that truly reflect how Nantida is, and how she became such a lead diva of Thailand.

  • 19 3 yaak pak waan: episode 3

Artists: Aof Pongsak, Pop Pongkul and Wan Tanakit Period: July 13, 2014 Shows: 2 rounds (One Sold-out) Venue: Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon (Bangkok, Thailand) Descriptives: 3 Yaak Pak Wan concert is a third collaboration of three easy-listening male singers of Thailand Aof Pongsak, Pop Pongkul and Wan Tanakut, whom doesnt have only vocal talented but also their talk-show abilities, to make a laughter of the audience as well as enjoy their freaky performances. In the superheroes theme to protecting the too serious world, 3 yaak gang reunited together again to put a laughter and smile on the audience by their collaboration in both talk and sing on the stage. Additionally, be impressed with the extreme production as of A-time Showbiz style.

  • 20 Commercial responses: 3 yaak EP 3 was a 3rd collaboration of todays most famous male singers Aof, Pop and Waan whom have many radio-friendly hits and good vocal ability as well as their sense of humor in speaking and joking around with the group themselves and the current situation of Thailand. Many jokes and scripts were made to sacarm in Thailand political situations and celebrites, that were the most favorite part for the audience to listening to those dirt jokes as well as their perform in every songs. Same as Nantida The Show Must Go On, 3 yaak initially plaaned to perform in late November 2013, but have to poseponed after only 1 round performed at Siam Paragon due to the risk situation at the time around the area. In the-two remain rounds of 3yaak, 3 singers still used some exact songlists and guests to be a part of the concert but most of its are removed and replaced by others new scripts and live performances. Still, they were also make fun during the speech that their show will be the only show ever that postponed for across the year. Audience receptions: The concert has already spoiled by the first attended audience in the first round last year, but Showbiz decided to recreated the show to be more fresh and scripts have to be changed in order to catch up with the current situation of that time. The remains 2-round of 3 yaak still acheived a well laughing-off of the audience as well as the freak performances with the sense of humor of the performers. Still, the songs that show the vocal ability of 3 male singers were still served during the show. By the way, the audience satisfied with the show, but nothing much to remember and recognize compared to others Showbiz concert. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Artist assistance (Beau Sunita)

  • 21 Since the show was already well planned in its production including songlists, spectacle and theme, plus the show has already performed for one round last year. These lead me to not participate much in term of production process, but still there were made a rehearsal in dancing, singing and talking scripts to preparing for the next 2 rounds of the show. I was allow to follow those three performers to see their reheasing at GMM Grammy Place, and also at Royal Paragon Hall. During the rehearsal days, some of the new songs were added to be in the setlist of the last 2 rounds of 3yaak, yet most of them were retain the same lists. These lead the 3 performers to learning in new songs and new cherographies. The most struggle part happened to Pop Pongkul who was reponse to do a parody performance of Tata Youngs Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy song, which requested him to dress like a drag queen and portray himself like Tata Young. I was amazed and amused in every rehearsing part of Pop Pongkul due to his humor acting and being such a professional. During the concert date, At Royal Paragon, an internship admintrator allowed me to take caring one of the guest Beau Sunita, who known as an outstanding vocalist female singer. I used to sing her songs and purchased her albums since i was only a child. It was a real exciting moment plus with a blissful emotions during working with her. I was response to lead and lighten her way to be on stage, as well as treat her by appropriate foods and drinks, and special massage as her requested to make her well-prepared before joining the stage with 3 main performers. Internship Notes: 3 yaak pak wan was an incompleted performance that unfortunately havent perform on an exact scheduled running-dates, and it had to be complete by moved the schedule to taking place in July. I found it stranged that how many live concert in the world that have to taking such a long break from the begining and postpone it expectedly in the next half year. I heard the performers feel not so freshy and exciting as their first session of the performance, but they have to moved on in order to response for the audiences tickets selling. 3 main performers were not take this responsibility so serious, that they seemed not too stressed by being changable in songs, scripts, dance moves and sequences. I knew it completely that they were expert enough to handle to this kind of situation. It led me to not too stressed by doing this project at all.

  • 24 Give Me 5 Concert Rate A

Artists: Nadech Kugimiya, Mario Maurer, Ken Phupoom, Weir Sukolwat and James Ma Period: October 25, 2014 Shows: 2 rounds Venue: Impact Arena, Mueng Thong Thani (Nonthaburi, Thailand) Descriptives: Five of Thailands hottest male superstars will be taking to the big stage at Impact Arena for a biggest night of them of excitement, electic sounds, a surprised guests, a lots of hot performances! Mario Maurer, James Ma, Ken Phupoom, Weir Sukollawat and Nadech Kuginiya will be holding their Give Me 5: Concert Rate A where they will closely interact with fans and provide them lots of fun entertainment throughout the duration of the concert. With the never-be-seen-before side of those 5 superstars, you will expose in their most musculinity and sensuality on the stage, and being a singer. Many songs will perform live by them, with the tons of surprised guests that will make the fans scream and dance along with every good tunes in the original A-time Showbiz concert style.

  • 25 Commercial responses: Give Me 5 Concert Rate A was the collaboration of A-time Showbiz and Ae Supachai the most famous talent scout of Thailand to make an A Supachais exploring famous actors to become a real stage performer for one-day and two-round at the big stage of Impact Arena. Being famously known as the soap-opera and movie star performers, 5 big-name actors have to make themself theathical and excitement as much as possible to exploding a big fun on stage. They all said that they were very excited about it. The youngest actor in the group, James Mar, said he doesnt have as much experience as the other actors, so he tries to learn as much as he can from them. Nadech, who as well as being a skillful actor can sing and dance well, said that he was excited and hoped the concert would allow fans to know the actors better. Nadech also guaranteed that the concert will be lots of fun. Though Mario seemed a bit awkward while singing and dancing, he charmed the fans with his sense of humour. He joked that when somebody complimented his singing in a recording studio, he had to tell him that he was the first person ever to say something nice about his singing. Mario said that in preparation for the concert, he has helped his voice by drinking lemonade. And because his singing isnt strong, actors who starred with Mario in the blockbuster comedy ghost movie Pee Mak will perform with him at the concert. Despite everybody being busy, Weir admit that the actors all promised to be available for concert rehearsals, and they have done well. Nadech added that without proper rehearsals, the concert would never happen. Apart from the five actors, Nadech revealed that top actress Yaya Urassaya who join him onstage, making fans who love to see them as a couple very happy. Audience receptions: The Give Me 5 concert Rate A is an unconventional musical show from a musical artist, but from a famous actor. The professional actors are more expert in performing on TV series and act but not for singing and dancing. The reason behind why A-time Showbiz chose to working this project was fanclub demanding of those 5 stars to having their own concert as their dream. The audiences were more 5 actors fan-based and TV series lovers rather than music listeners, and they found the show was truly exciting and make the new scene for both actors as live performers, and the fans as they have experience the first time seeing their favorite actors in live. The full-stream production in the signature of A-time Showbiz, and the performance were having such an extreme scene to show the strong ability of being a performer of 5 actors such as sling, acrobatic, and fountain.

  • 26 The fans were satisfied with the pattern of the show that portray the 5 actors as the Boyband-like performer. Every sections of the show showed the charming in singing and sense of humoring in speech of those 5 actors freely, which most of them making fun of being an Ae Supachais discovered and how their became a star. Plus with more than 10 guest performers that shared on the stage to make a real surprise of the audiences, this tactic were faily use in thoughout the show, but some complained that they were too much guest appearances. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinator and artist assistant (Marsha) During the period of spending time in the office at GMM Grammy, I attended the meeting of all A-time Showbiz creatives to think about the performance and concept of the concert. As the actors that shared the owning of the concert arent professional singer, it was difficult to put a tremedous performance like a real artist would have. There were also a lot of limitation of schudules and stage talent for those 5 actors. Nadech was only the actor that agreed to do any tough requirement from the crew in both sing and dance no matter what, while others still have some doubt and uncomfortable to do anything on the stage . These lead the team to be thought about the show, rehearsal time and selected song very circumspectly. I also shared an idea of the one segment of the show to display the stage as a house in the conference of creative a show for Give Me 5. My idea was to creating one moment that 5 performers shared stage together in kind of relaxed activities, dressed like they are at home , talking and singing on the stage. This idea have eventually been used in one segment of the show for the final consideration. • 27 Internship Notes: The expereince of working at Give Me 5 Concert was fun and full of energy. It was my first time grounding at where the performance talken place at Impact Arena, not Royal Paragon Hall. There were also a lot of performers that join the stage in different various segments of the show, with 5-main artists and also with 10 guest-performers. Many crew from A-time and artist assistants were working dextoriously and had to be punctual for the stage to be start and end due to the day that the concert took place was only one day, but splitted in 2 rounds, 2pm and 7pm. 5 actors putted so much effort for being a main performers at the stage, with many risk-performing techniques such as Slings and Acrobatics, but the actors were done excellently. The fans were fulfilled with the full stremed show that the creators had created and received a satidfied critical acclaims as well.
