§ The Government of Gujarat hosted the third edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit in January 2007. Delegates participated from several countries including USA, China, Singapore, Spain, Japan, UK, Germany, Belgium, France, South Korea, Israel and Denmark.
§ The Summit follows the resounding success of earlier such even-based intiative of a very proactive Government. The Global Investor’s Summit achieved USD 16 bn in 2003 and USD 24 bn in 2005. The Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit 2007 (including Urban Summit 2007) witnessed an unprecedented increase in the overall investment levels with the signing of 675 MoUs worth USD 152 billion
