DESCRIPTION
Guiding Wild Berlin is an analysis and subsequent system design that aims at creating a solution to new development in the city and thus the loss of Berlin's urban wilderness. By implementing a system of sampling plants from the wilderness participants can take part in expanding the Wild through the transplanting of those wild plants into the Programmed green spaces of the city. Through this expansion and combining of the Wild and Programmed green spaces the urban and natural environments will begin to be blurred creating the potential for a truly green city. Guiding Wild Berlin is realized through the use of an interactive (analog) foldout guide and map. The guide explains to participants the system process, while the map allows them to chart their experience in the wilderness of Berlin.
