● Non passing winter/spring grades

● Dropped winter/spring coursework

● Any conditions that they did not meet

● All changes submitted through the portal will be

evaluated by each campus. Decisions will not be

determined by phone.

and official documents may result in a rescinded

admission offer.

Students can complete each action item for each campus through their online student portal.

*Students are allowed to SIR to one UC campus. In the event that students SIR to more than one

campus, UC will notify the student by email to choose one campus and decline the others. If no action

is completed by the student, UC will rescind the offers of admissions to all involved campuses.

Provisional Admission

Each campus provides newly admitted students with conditions for

admission that must be satisfied prior to enrollment at the University.

Offers of admission are provisional until:

• The campus receives your final transcripts

• The transcripts are verified for successful completion of all

coursework required for UC eligibility

• The final, official transcript from the institution from which you are

transferring indicates you are in good standing

If you are not in good standing, misrepresented yourself, or if you did

not meet admissions conditions, the offer of admission may be

withdrawn.

Orientation

Is designed to welcome new students and families to the university. Orientation may be

mandatory for students to attend, depending on the campus.

At orientation, students may expect to:

● Meet with their academic/major advisor(s)

● Learn more about their major and general education graduation requirements.

● Gain a deeper understanding of the university

● Learn about social and academic resources/programs

● Meet new people and begin to make connections.

● Enroll in courses for the fall quarter/semester

Information about Orientation is typically listed as a To-Do list item within student’s +SIR portal.

Advising

Encourage students to;

● confirm submission of all required official documents to Admissions,

● bring unofficial transcripts with them to advising sessions so that academic

throughout the year

school students

● 10 or 12 week special sessions

For academic courses, fee $ amounts vary per unit and by UC campus location.

● Fees do not include housing costs

● Financial aid available to those that qualify

Transfer Student Centers & Hubs provide programs and services for transfer

students that affirms their value to the UC campus community and increases their

visibility on campus. Our programs and services are designed to:

● GUIDE students as they transition into a UC, throughout their time here, and

beyond

● INFORM students of resources, programs, opportunities, etc.

● SUPPORT students through one-on-one meetings, advocating for student

needs and concerns, etc., and

● CONNECT students to each other by providing a central meeting place (our

office) for studying and socializing, as well as through our various programs

and events that bring transfers together.

● UC provides special assistance and services to support students with disabilities so they can
