GUIDELINES FOR UNFIRED PRESSURE VESSEL DESIGN APPROVAL.

Ensure:

1. Application letter must have reference number, date, and name of contact person and telephone number.

2. Application letter must be signed.3. Application must be attached together with Attachment

Information Needed in Design Application of Unfired Pressure Vessel (Approved Local Fabricator)

Vessel)

4. Attachment B should be completed and attached together with application.5. All the calculation must have the reference.6. Every design drawing for each component and welding must indicate reference number in

drawing.7. Each document submitted to the department must be in Malay or English and be translated if

needed.8. Any changes or additional information on the design drawing already submitted to

department must be revised.

Steps must be taken in every application:

a) All information must be enclosed in a file and preferably white in color.

b) The following documents must be attached with fastener.i) Application letterii) Attachment UPViii) Design certificate if anyiv) Design calculationv) Other certificates or documents

c) Design drawings to be submitted may be enclosed in pocket file or plastic folder.
