Guidelines for Empanelment of Private Hospitals.

- North Central Railway empanels only reputed Multi-speciality/Super speciality private

hospitals, for the facilities not available in Railway Hospitals on need basis.

- Empanelment is being done on the CGHS rates, applicable for NABH/Non-NABH

accredited hospital off that city.

- Proposal is considered on the request of the hospitals. Inspection is done by a

committee of railway doctors on the technical aspects i.e. No. of

beds/facilities/specialities/services offered, medical set up & reputation of the hospital

etc.

- Sanctioning authority for empanelment of private hospital is Ministry of Railways.

This is granted on the recommendation of CMD, concurrence of Finance and

administrative approval of General Manager.

- Private reputed hospitals can make request on their letter head duly mentioning the

following information.

No. of beds available.

Facilities available.

No. of doctors/specialists working.

No. of ICU/ICCU beds available.

Ambulance facilities provided to railway beneficiaries.

Distance from nearest railway station/railway hospitals.

Three copies of the rate list, its comparison to CGHS rates offered to other hospitals

of the city and rates for North Central Railway are also required.

Any other extra facility/concession to be given to North Central Railway.
