Instruction for poster session (brief version)１．Poster presentation is performed using “Remo”.

２．Tables are set for each poster presentation.• The name of the tables are assigned by the poster presentation number (eg. P-8-8).• For presenter: Please wait viewers coming at the table during

the designated presentation time.

３．How to make a poster presentation• Presenters should paste the PDF data of the submitted poster on the

“whiteboard” of each table (The maximum data size is 10MB).• During the poster session, please discuss with the viewers by showing the poster on

the whiteboard.• Participants will visit each poster and have free discussions online, so please

participate with both the camera and microphone turned on.• Downloading posters and screenshots are prohibited.

４．Poster viewing period• The submitted posters can be viewed by login to the conference website from

September 21st (Tuesday) 12:00 to 24th (Friday) 17:00 (discussion should be heldduring the poster session).

・You can move freely between tables (Just double-click on a vacant seat).

・Video and audio can only be shared with people seated at the same table

Please join us on Google Chrome.When using Safari, we have confirmed some problems such as screen sharing not working well.

Tablet devices cannot be used.Please use a desktop or laptop computer for both Windows PC and Mac. You can also participate using your smartphone.

Make sure your browser is up to date.

How to register to the poster session (Step 1)

Step 1: When you receive the invitation email, click "Accept Invitation".

If the event organizer has given you the URL to the event directly, access it directly from the URL.

Do not press this button.

Step 2: From the event attendance page, click “予約する” (Book) or ”出席確認” (Confirm Attendance). These can be clicked before the event starts. After clicking, the account creation screen will be displayed

Step 3: If you already have an account, please enter your email address.

If you donʼt have an account, the account creation screen will be displayed automatically. Please enter your name, email address, and password (6 characters or more).

Step 1: Click your icon at the top right of the screen.

Step 2: Click “プロフィール” (Profile) to see your own profile.

Enter your first and last name.

Enter your institution.

Please be sure to enter your name and institution.(Other items are optional.)

Step 3: Click “編集” (Edit) to edit your profile. After editing, you can save the entered contents by clicking “保存内容を変更” (Change saved contents).

Attention for participating the session

• When you log in to the event, you will be automatically seated at an empty table.

• Therefore, you will be seated at an unexpected table, but please do not panic and move to the surrounding vacant table (double-click on an empty seat).

• Then, find the floor or table you want to go to and move. (Double-click on an empty seat).

• If you are a presenter, please paste the poster file (PDF) on the whiteboard screen by yourself.

• The poster presentation venue has five floors.

• As shown below, the floors are divided according to the poster presentation number.

Poster presentations are divided into four core times for each poster number.

Time Poster number on each floor16:30〜17:00 1, 5, 9, 13（e.g., P-1-1, P-2-5, P-4-13）

17:00〜17:30 2, 6, 10, 14（e.g., P-2-2, P-3-10, P-5-14）

17:30〜18:00 3, 7, 11, 15（e.g., P-1-3, P-3-7, P-2-15）

18:00〜18:30 4, 8, 12, 16（e.g., P-3-4, P-4-12, P-5-16）

Poster presentation using “Whiteboard” in Remo (Step 1)

① Click "その他" (Others) at the bottom of the screen

②Select “ホワイトボード” (whiteboard).

• Each table has its own whiteboard screen.• The poster should be posted on the whiteboard by yourself as

a presenter. When making a presentation, please display the whiteboard for discussion.

When participating in the discussion, turn on the camera and microphone.

Please discuss while displaying the poster※The poster will be locked by the secretariat so that it cannot be edited or deleted.

※As a general rule, ask questions and reply to them face-to-face using video and microphone. If you cannot ask a verbal question, you can also use the chat function.

For presenters, please copy and paste or drag and drop your poster data when the whiteboard is displayed.

How to paste your poster

How to use “Chatting” (Use when you cannot access the presenter directly)

① Click “チャット” (Chat) at the bottom of the screen

• Use this function to send questions and comments to individuals or leave them at the table during the poster session time.

• You can use general chat, table chat, or private chat according to your purpose.

② Message screen is displayed

You can search the presenter by entering the name of the person you want to chat with.

③ Select 全体チャット(general), テーブルチャット (table), プライベートチャット (private) and send a message.

Precaution Statements• Chat exchanges will not be available after the poster session,

so please make sure to save them before the end of the session.

• For inquiries about using Remo on the day, please contact the Japan Radiation Research Society Secretariat table on the floor 1 of the Remo floor (the table on the upper left of floor 1).
