Important tips as you decide on a college and plan for next year

Make sure you visit all the campuses where you have been accepted, either for an open house, an overnight visit, or a campus tour. Try to sit in on some classes so you can make an informed decision on the school that best fits your needs.

Speak to your college’s Financial Aid Office if you have questions or concerns about its financial aid package. Many colleges are able to find more money if students make an effort to speak to them about their situation.

Once you’ve made up your mind, be sure to read all the materials from the college of your choice. You don’t want to miss deadlines for housing and registration or orientation.

Be honest in filling out your roommate information. You will be rooming with someone for at least several weeks before you are able to switch roommates. Give some thought to whether or not you truly want to room with a friend who is going to the same college. Friends in high school may not always make the best roommates in college.

VHS Chem Free All-Nighter 2019 June 9 midnight until 5am

Hello Parents, Congratulations on your graduating Senior! A fun, exciting, busy time for all! Our committee mission is: To provide a fun and safe environment for ALL seniors (and dates) to come to after the prom.

In order to do that, it requires a lot of planning and funding. The amount needed to put on this evening is $15,000. That's A LOT of dough! The all nighter is held at the high school after the prom and there will be inflatable jousting and obstacle courses, massage therapists, a magician, casino style table games, a cash machine, lots and lots of food, an escape room and lazer tag. There are a TON of prizes for the kids to win and the evening commences with a hilarious hypnotist show in the auditorium.

The many ways we accomplish this are through corporate and parent donations and fundraisers. We ask that you consider making a parent donation and or support our many upcoming fundraisers listed below. Please share these opportunites with friends and families.
