Guess the Place or Situation using Modal Verbs Example – Car Accident

1. You must call the police. 2. You should call your insurance company. 3. You can check if everyone is ok. 4. You may stay by the side of the road. 5. You should remember the details.

You will be given a card with a place or situation on it. In pairs, make five sentences using different modals verbs to talk about the place or situation on your card. Each pair will present their sentences to the class. Don’t make the sentences about your place or situation too easy to guess. Try not to use words that relate to your place or situation. Keep your sentences secret until your presentation! The class will try to guess the place or situation.
