What is it?

The Guardian2 from Lone Guardian is an advanced personal tracker that integrates a

quad band GSM/GPRS phone for two way communication and the latest super

sensitive 50 channel low-power GPS receiver for positioning.

At first glance, Guardian2 looks like a conventional mobile phone, but it supports

many functions designed specifically for ensuring the safety of remote personnel.

Guardian2 can be used as a cell phone for voice calls, as a dedicated tracking device,

and as a panic alarm or call for assistance, all through a simple easy to use menu. This

small robust device can be carried along in a pocket or fixed in a vehicle. It is a true

mobile all-rounder both for commercial and private users.

The devices true strength lies in the multitude of its configuration options, Rolling GPS

display, geo-fencing capability with alarm and an ultra-precise motion detector are just

some of the Guardian2's core functions.

Guardian2 supports the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for Zigbee low power communications

networks. This allows indoor tracking of personnel to ensure you know where they are

at all times, not just when they are outdoors with GPS coverage.
