INTRODUCING THE PRINCIPAL

Sanjiv Dhawan is the Principal and Chief

Executive Officer of Guru Tegh Bahadur

International School, which is located inBrampton, Ontario. Sanjiv has a Master

of Business Administration and Master

of Science (honours) degree. Through-

out his life, he held many positions. He

worked in various educational institutions

as a teacher, mentor, principal, and man-

aging director. In Canada and India, he

has mentored thousands of students from

the primary level to the university level,

which included preparing them for various

competitive examinations in the subjects

of fashion, administrative work, manage-

ment and of course other academic fields.

Sanjiv has made four presentations at the

Standing Committee on Citizenship and

Immigration in an attempt to bring about

various immigration reforms. He has also

made presentations at various international

organizations, including the World TradeOrganization. Moreover, Sanjiv has also

worked with many media organizations

in Canada. He has worked as a talk-show

host on TV and radio, where he inter-

viewed Canadian and Indian politicians,

as well as Hollywood and Bollywood stars.

He also donned the hat of a newspaper

reporter and brought many issues to light.

Additionally, he was interviewed by Can-

ada AM (CTV) and other media outlets to

provide his viewpoint on numerous issues.

Guru Tegh Bahadur International School teaches students

from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. The school embracestheories that create practical results for phenomenal

achievements such as a balanced literacy program

that uses interventional methods and a combination of

theorized and practical approach in the math program.

Other than academics, they also encourage students to become well-rounded individuals through participation

The students went on an exciting field trip to a Gurdwara Sahib, a Mandir(Hindu Temple) , a Mosque, a

a Church. The students met with members of each religion and toured the various places of worship. T

students also had the opportunity to observe worshippers and listen to prayers. As a result, the studen

developed an appreciation of the different religions and an acceptance for those who have different belie
