Remarks for Installation
○The factory ECU must be unmodified.
○Use the high Octane gasoline.
○Replace the spark plugs to the high heat range spark plugs. HKS SUPER FIRE
RACING M40i or higher.
○The factory washer tank must be removed in order to install this kit. Prepare a
washer tank such as DENSO 160200-5070 WASER ASSY. ○The factory air guide in front of the condenser must be modified to route a pipe in
order to install the intercooler.
○Required Installation Time: Approximately 6-8 hours.
※The red plate placed on the engine of the photo is not included in the kit.
4. Concept & Features 1. Harmonization of Engine + Motor Assist + Supercharger HONDA has introduced us the world’s first hybrid sports car CR-Z. HKS has examined the CR-Z from many different angles to develop product to harmonize the hybrid engine and supercharger. The CR-Z engine torque over at low engine rpm is supported by the motor assist function so you can enjoy torqueful drive even with the 1.5L engine. However, the engine performance at high engine rpm, especially when the motor assist function is off, cannot satisfy CR-Z owners. To improve the engine performance at high engine rpm, HKS developed its standard centrifugal type GT Supercharger for the CR-Z. The engine performance at low engine rpm is maintained by the motor assist function, and performance at high rpm is by HKS GT Supercharger. 2. Sports Car to Monster Car
HKS has already offered “Winding Package” for the intake and exhaust tuning. For more CR-Z owners to enjoy tuning, “Hi-Performance Package” including GT Supercharger is released. This package transforms the CR-Z from a sport car to “Monster Machine.” The target engine output is 300ps and maximum speed is 250km/h with upgrading the engine internals and clutch.
There are 2 types of “Hi-Performance Package.” STEP1: GT Supercharger Complete Kit (GTS4015 Step1)

STEP2: GT Supercharger Complete Kit (GT4015 Step2) Bolt-on installation with the stock engine & upgraded injectors Engine Output: 200ps, Max Speed: 222km/h Special GT Supercharger Set-up Kit (GTS7040) Upgraded Engine, Upgraded Injectors, and Upgraded Fuel Pump Engine Output: over 300ps, Max Speed: 261km/h
Special GTS7040 Supercharger Set-up Kit has already been released. GT4015 Supercharger Complete Kit Step1 and Step2 are now ready to release. These are complete kits for the stock engine. Step1 is for the stock engine with the stock injectors; the 170ps engine output can be reached. Step 2 includes the upgraded injectors; the 200ps engine output can be reached. “CR-Z is a sporty car, not sport car.” Installing “Winding Package” can be close to a sport car; however, the engine performance does not correspond to the original rigidity and turning behavior. Installing Step 1 or Step2 can bring out the CR-Z’s potentiality to become a real sport car. Many journalist and racing drivers have tried Step2, and the following are their comments on Step2.
